Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded when I add page numbers?

No. The numbers are stamped onto your PDF entirely in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, which makes the tool safe for contracts, reports, and other confidential documents you would rather keep private.

Can I number only some pages of the PDF?

Yes. Switch Pages to Custom ranges and enter the pages you need, like 1-3, 5, 7-10. Only those pages get stamped, but the numbers still follow document position, so page 5 always shows the fifth number in your sequence.

Can I change the position and format of the numbers?

Yes. Choose from six positions, three at the top of the page and three at the bottom. You can also pick a format like Page 1 of 10, set the font size from 8 to 14 points, and start counting from any number.
