Is my document uploaded when I add a watermark?
No. The watermark is drawn into the PDF entirely in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so drafts, contracts, and confidential reports stay private from start to finish.
Can the watermark be removed later?
The watermark becomes part of each page's content, the same as printed text, so ordinary readers cannot switch it off. Like any visible watermark it is not tamper-proof against determined editing, but it clearly marks every page for everyday sharing.
Should I use a centered or tiled watermark?
A centered diagonal stamp like CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT reads clearly without hurting readability, and works for most documents. Tiling repeats the mark across the whole page, which makes screenshots and photos of the document much harder to reuse cleanly.
